Deductions:

80% tax deduction on the first €250 donated.

40% tax deduction on all donations exceeding the first €250. (45% if you have donated more than €250 to the same NGO for more than 3 years).

Membership fees to the NGO are also considered donations.
Examples:

If you donate €200 in a year, when you declare the donation you could deduct 80% of €200, that is, €160.

If you donate €300 in a year, when you declare the donation you could deduct:

80% of €250, that is, €200

40% of €50 (€300-€250), that is, €20
-
In total, you could deduct €220 (€200+€20) from the €300.
