"ROOTS" PROJECT

Tree.PNG

“A person’s life is evidenced through the lines that make up a tree as a reflection of their own existence.” Karl Koch.

We understand that a person's roots are their cultural, genetic, and emotional foundations: their family, their customs, their birthplace, and so on. We inevitably need care, protection, stability, love, and opportunities to foster our personal, emotional, intellectual, and social development. The absence or deficiency of these factors leads to suffering, fear, low self-esteem, isolation, despair, and conflict, hindering self-acceptance, the search for identity, and integration into society.

It is essential that the roots that sustain our lives are firmly established and sufficiently fluid to channel our skills, abilities, and aptitudes in the process of adaptation, socialization, and integration into our environment.
